4. Manage, Analyze & Grow
The site you paid for is a depreciating asset if nobody maintains it.
WordPress sites don't fail dramatically. They drift — a plugin conflict here, a slow query there — until one day the contact form has been broken for three weeks.
Who This Is For
We keep WordPress sites running for businesses across your city. You need a care plan if:
- Nobody at your business is responsible for updating the site
- You don't know when it was last backed up, or whether the backup would restore
- You've had a form stop working and only found out because a customer mentioned it
- Your site runs on WordPress, which means it needs regular updates by design
What's Included
What we handle
Core, theme, and plugin updates
Applied on a schedule, tested on a staging copy first. Updates applied blind to a live site is how a homepage breaks on a Saturday.
Backups
Automated, off-site, and tested by actually restoring one. An untested backup is a hope, not a backup.
Security
Firewall, malware scanning, login hardening, and monitoring. If something does get in, we handle the cleanup.
Uptime monitoring
We know the site is down before you do, and before your customers tell you.
Performance
Caching and image optimization maintained, with page speed checked monthly rather than at launch and never again.
Form and function testing
Your contact forms, booking flows, and checkout tested every month. This is the check that catches the failure nobody notices.
Small content changes
A monthly allowance for text edits, image swaps, hours updates, and new pages.
Monthly report
What was updated, what was found, what was fixed.
How Care Plans Work
How care plans work
A fixed monthly fee, tiered by how much change allowance and how fast a support response you need. Fixed means fixed — no hourly billing for the routine work.
Hosting is separate. We use Pressable for managed WordPress and can either move you there or work with the host you already have.
Objections
Straight answers
My host already does backups.
Many do, and that's genuinely useful. It's also not the same as someone testing that the restore works, applying updates on staging first, checking your forms still submit, and watching for malware. Hosting is infrastructure. Care is attention.
Can't I just update the plugins myself?
You can, and if you're diligent about it that's a legitimate choice. The failure mode isn't difficulty, it's memory — updates get deferred during a busy month, then deferred again, and the gap between versions is where the security problems live.
What if my site breaks anyway?
We restore from backup and fix it. That's the point of the plan — not that nothing ever goes wrong, but that when it does, someone is already responsible and the recovery path already exists.

Questions we get
Do you have to have built the site?
No. We'll audit an existing site first and tell you if anything needs fixing before a plan makes sense.
What counts as a small change?
Text edits, image swaps, new posts, hours and contact updates, adding a standard page. Redesigns and new functionality are quoted separately.
How fast do you respond if something breaks?
Response times are set by plan tier. Site-down issues jump the queue regardless of tier.
Can I cancel?
Monthly, with notice. We'll hand over everything — you own the site, the hosting account, and the backups.
Do you work on other platforms?
WordPress is what we specialize in. We'll tell you honestly if your platform is outside what we can support well.
Find out what shape your site is in.
We'll check your updates, backups, security, and whether your forms are actually delivering. Most site owners learn something.
